About Me
Licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga Teacher, educator
(SHE/HER)
I have been in love with movement for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I did ballet for 10 years before an ankle injury made me hang up my pointe shoes for good. In my recovery, I found yoga and it really helped me a lot. I began teaching in 2008, mostly vinyasa for the first handful of years, and eventually fell into my elemental groove as a teacher of the slower-paced styles, like yin, restorative and hatha. In 2017, I started studying massage therapy at East West College of the Healing Arts. This was something I had always wanted to do, but I had to wait for the right time, and the summer of 2017 was it. After graduating, I went on to work as a massage therapist and yoga teacher at a remote backcountry lodge in Eastern Oregon for several months before returning to Portland and opening my practice in the heart of the city.
These days, I teach a weekly yoga class in Beaverton, practice massage therapy a few days a week in Hillsdale and teach kinesiology classes to students of massage therapy at East West. I also enjoy spending time with my two precious rescue dogs, Albert and Max.
